About

I want to create for ...

Change; not solely for consumption. I want to be designing with a purpose, where my intent is to impact the lives of people who use the products. I want to able to create, to tell a story and to bring joy to people who use the products I design. 

Everyone says they have a passion for design, but I believe that I bring a blend of unique traits to a way of designing that is unique to me. I have been blessed to have grown up in Canada where the outdoors are plentiful and a country filled with opportunities. I have been able to experience many amazing opportunities like being the only female finalists in multiple footwear competitions. It has allowed me to meet many people in the global design community which feeds into my inspiration bank. Travelling, being one of my favourite things to help inspire my creative mind, has allowed me to be exposed to many different cultures, it has taught me to be flexible and to keep an open-mind, allowing my problem solving skills to be nimble.

I strive to pursue a career in product design specializing in performance wear, technical soft-goods, sportswear and footwear products using skills and experience drawn from a background in Industrial Design and a side hustle of the exploration of slow fashion.

Currently in search for a design position which brings my creative problem solving design skills and passion for the outdoor adventure into harmony.
